Ron and Opal Erickson have been singing together and traveling across the nation with their singing and instrumental ministry for more than 40 years. They were the 2007 and 2008 recipients of the Duo of the Year Award presented by the International Country Gospel Music Association. The Ericksons are a Hope Restored host couple, sharing their story of marriage redemption with couples attending the event. Ron and Opal have two married daughters and six grandchildren.
Married for over 50 years, Ron and Opal Erickson are a host couple for Hope Restored. More than 20 years ago, Ron had a serious midlife crisis, going on a downward spiral that led to a relationship with another woman. He and Opal were estranged for about 18 months until he finally submitted his life to God. Their marriage was restored and now have a music ministry. As a Hope Restored host couple, they get to share their music and their story with those couples.
