Sheila Seifert

Sheila Seifert is the editorial director of Brio and  Focus on the Family magazines, the author of books for adults and children, and the founder of Simple Literature. Her co-authored children’s books include Bible Kidventures: Stories of Danger and Courage, Rescue on the River, and Swept Into the Sea. While a college instructor, Sheila taught creative writing and literature courses. Relying on her academic and commercial knowledge, she has created reading and writing curriculum for students and a How to Write Fiction download for adults. Before working for Focus on the Family, Sheila cowrote over 20 books, had over 1,000 freelance sales, and had a number of her animated children’s scripts produced for DVD and TV.
